We want to bring together building science and the building industry in ways that designers can utilize. One of the ways we do this is by developing custom software solutions for architects, engineers, and manufacturers.

We recently worked with SAGE, the manufacturer of SageGlass® an electrochromic glass product, to develop a custom dynamic shading module in DIVA-for-Rhino. The module, which is open to all users, enables SAGE to assess the performance of their switchable glazing.  As a result of the collaboration, SAGE now has a solution for accurately modeling the unique performance advantages of its products, while all DIVA users have a new tool for understanding the effect of complex dynamic facade systems.
